You All Everybody

Real men eat raw zebra and call it "awesome."
I appear to be ill. It may simply be a cold, but it is no fun. It began with a scratchy throat in the car on my way home on Friday and has only gotten worse. Last night's slumber was straight out of hell. I woke up and wanted to quote my main man Bear Grylls by saying: "It's 5 A.M. and I feel like death," but unfortunately it was only 2 A.M. The good news is that I may feel really crappy, but I'm still in a good mood because it's nice to not be stressing about school.

On Friday night I went out to dinner with my family, my aunt, my grandma (dad's mom), and my grandparents (mom's parents). We were celebrating my grandma's 90th birthday and my sister's high school graduation. Then yesterday everybody came back over, along with my aunt, uncle, and cousins from Danville. More graduation celebrations. But most of the day was spent watching a Man vs. Wild marathon with my sister & cousins and assorted other family members that were quite fascinated by the glorious Bear. It turns out that my cousin Kyle is just about as obsessed as I am, so it was a day well spent. I felt really shitty though, and I feel bad about being a little anti-social. I really wanted to spend more time with all my family, but I was also wishing I could be asleep.

My major plans for the rest of the week include: becoming not sick; forcing my mom and/or sister to watch awesome shows like Spaced, Black Books, Big Train, and Shameless (series 1 only, of course!); making little clay people modeled after my favorite characters from my favorite shows -- especially LOST (Lawl, it's gonna be silly fun); sorting through all the pictures I have in iPhoto and making some decent old school Awesome Department albums on facebook. I'm counting on a nice, relaxed week. I'm in great need of one.

I got an A- in Latin. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

It is so nice to NOT be in the Hatlen theatre.
Yesterday was our second trip to the Getty. I drove Mitzi and we had a fun time listening to music, writing down good vanity plates, and getting a hardcore case of the giggles. Hooray. I'm proud of myself for driving through L.A. traffic, something I was hoping never to do. But I did it and I survived. Plus I think it was worth it, because the Getty Villa is pretty damn awesome.

Today I awkwardly took a nap on the couch and then somehow moved upstairs to my bed. I don't really remember doing this. I slept from like 4:30 to 9, and I'm still tired. I'll probably be asleep again in another hour or two. The only reason I got up at nine was out of hunger.

Bear Grylls is the ultimate champion of life. Nothing beats a Man Vs. Wild marathon... Nothing, that is, except the announcement of new episodes beginning June 15th. Wee!

Leah slept over last night, and I had an amazing time with her. Leah, I love you so much. I really really do.

I am no longer going to the movies this weekend, which makes me sad. :(

I bought new bras at K-Mart today. My lady lumps are already much happier. Lawwwwl.

Brittny, Mitzi, and I watched the first episode of Shameless, which I rented because James McAvoy is in it. It turns out that it's a really good show and I can't wait to watch more. I also can't wait until Aymen returns my movie so I can send it back to Netflix and get another DVD.

Today is Gary's birthday. He is in Vegas with his family. He was playing Craps when I called him. Gary is weird. But I like when he's with his family because I don't have to worry about him doing anything dangerous or stupid.

My dad got a Facebook account. When I found his friend request last night, I laughed for a long time. I was quite tipsy, so it was v. amusing.

My LOST calendar makes me sad. Did they make you-know-who the May picture just to break my heart?

I feel like watching an episode of The Office (the original one), but I hate to turn Bear Grylls off. I guess it'd be okay, since I've already seen this episode. Goodnight everybody.

My Own Kind of Music: Does Bear Grylls really need to do these things?
