Do you want anything from the shop? Cornetto.
Awww my Leah just left me. :( Yesterday was SOOOO FANTASTIC. Obvly (that's the new abbrieviation for "obviously" brought into my life by Leah) classes were a little boring because all I could think about was how it was Hot Fuzz day. But then after that I came home and watched Spaced, which eased the pain of waiting.

When Mitzles got out of class, Brittny and I picked her up, and then we went to the theatre to buy Hot Fuzz tickets. Then we got Starbucks and discovered that TANGERINE FRAPPUCCINOS ARE BACK IN SEASON! Those drinks are my bitches and I will drink them every day until they are gone again. [Imagine me making a Brian Topp-like "Mmmm..." now!] In Starbucks was a dude that looked like a younger Locke playing some kind of game (not backgammon) that involved little white and black rocks. I freaked out a little too much. The worst part of my day was when some kind of folk version of "Crazy In Love" came on in Starbucks. Too weird.

So then, after almost I almost got kidnapped by Sleazy Ben outside the theatre, Leah arrived and we all got settled into seats. And the glory began.

It's hard for me to write about perfection, so I can't quite come up with the right words to say about Hot Fuzz. I laughed/smiled the entire time. Even when something tense or scary was happening, I was still smiling because Simon Pegg is so amazing and sexy. I laughed every time Julia Deakin's (a.k.a. Marsha from Spaced) crazy mug showed up on screen just because she is hilarious. My face hurt afterwards, in the really good way. Most of the people in the movie looked familiar to me, which was exciting. It's always cool to see movies chock-full of people you know and trust, because then you don't have to worry about if the acting will be good and you can just enjoy the show. The weirdest thing was when I did some research on the interwebs and found out that the Andy with the smaller moustache was the 17-year-old douchebag guy who worked in the store with Shaun. WHAT? Is it weird that I thought he was sort of attractive in Hot Fuzz? I'm confused. Oh lordy it was all just so good. Am I going to have to see it again very soon? Yarp. Is this a problem? Of course narp! :D

Aaahhh best movie ever.

After the movie, Leah came over to hang out with us and we watched "The Landlord" again because Leah and Starr hadn't seen it. Then I showed everyone the cool blood blister I have on my pinky, which I got when I was pretending to be Pearl and pounding the remote control on the table shouting "BITCH! BITCH! BITCH!" Good times.

Then we watched two amazing episodes of Spaced. It made me crave Jaffa Cakes.

Then Leah and I made plans for dinner, which ended up being so delicious. We went to Vons and got a fresh pineapple, strawberries, granny smith apples, sugar free pudding & cool wHip for dipping, french bread, cheese, pineapple juice, and vodka. They all go deliciously together. We cut up all the fruit and arranged it beautifully on a plate. We warmed up the bread and cut that up too. And then Leah made some delicious drinks that we didn't have a name for, so we dubbed them "Gingernuts." Vodka + pineapple juice + grenadine. Proportions? We have no idea.

The rest of the night was a blaaaaaast. I have a sore back because I hit my lower back/upper bum on the fireplace. I don't know how, but I do know that at the exact same time I hit my nose with the top of a stool, which had been balancing on my feet. And my nose is sore too. Oh well! We danced around and talked and generally enjoyed ourselves. We went to bed really late, so I should be more tired now. But I'm not!

Do you hate it when people talk about dieting and weight? Then I will spare you. )

My family is coming tonight. Yaaaaaay!

I need breakfast.

Oh, honey -- the Chestersons!!!
The only thing that could be better than Evangeline Lilly getting Punk'd is Evangeline Lilly getting Punk'd at Harold Perrineau's house. HAHAHAHAHAHA. An instant classic. You can download it at Lost-Media.com if you'd like to see this shining gem. The crappy quality leaves something to be desired, though, so if you want to wait, I think it'll be on MTV again a week from tomorrow. That woman is all kinds of adorable.

There is too much Easter candy in my room. I keep putting it in my mouth without thinking and then running into the bathroom and spitting it out in a paper towel. I think I did that like five times today. What is my problem???

Martin Freeman is a cutie. I watched 4 (going on 5) episodes of The Robinsons today, so I can't get his sweet face out of my head. Awwww I love him. Here's a short little movie he stars in:

And while I was on my YouTube favorites page, I remembered this video which makes me giggle -- Ben and Michael singing "Sexy Back." With some background vocals by Rousseau.

Aaaah... Life. What a precious gift -- like boobs or rockets.
G'devening. I am coming to you live from my extra comfy bed-desk setup. Today was a good day! I had a dream that I was going bald and it freaked me the hell out, and then I woke up shaky and dizzy. I got a full eight hours of sleep, but I have still been feeling tired and weak all day. I guess it's either because of my bad dreams or because pretty much everyone else in the house got barely any sleep last night and I just picked up on the vibe. The first thing I did this morning before class was watch a lovely wee video [all my thoughts are coming out Scottish right now... stay tuned for an explanation] about zombies starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg as Dr. Russell Fell. Care to watch?

Thanks to [info]_see_spot_rock_ for that one! Watching it put me in a silly mood, and the drive to school with Mitzi was odd. It was ridiculously foggy and I felt like scary zombie things were going to start happening. But it was fun. Then I had one class and suddenly I was done with regular classes for the quarter! I went back to the car to wait for Mitzi, who had decided to skip the rest of her classes because sweet sleep was calling her name. Bored and restless, I went through my glove compartment and found many strange discoveries, including a very old car air freshener that says "This air freshener is my best friend." I decided to put it up. It smells weird.

We came home and I finished Austin Powers, watched some Shaun of the Dead special features, and then delighted in two episodes of Coupling. Good fun.

Next I took a shower and cleaned my room, and then made the shocking discovery that I own a cable which enables me to use a TV screen as a display for my laptop! My first impulse was to create some kind of powerpoint presentation. Mwahaha!

I dried my hair and fiddled about... Then eventually went downstairs and watched a documentary called Tarnation with Val and Mitzi. It was made by a guy who started videotaping his life at age 11 and his crazy (literally) family. I didn't hate it as much as Mitzi and Val did... In fact, I found it rather interesting. It had its problems, but it was a cool idea and was pretty well executed, aside from the third person storytelling (wtf?) and the dude's total obsession with himself.

After that I found a nice comment from Stu on MySpace that made me smile. I also learned a new word: "chuffed." Very informative.

Then those of us who were home went to have dinner at Luigi's. It was delicious, to say the least. We stopped at Coldstone, too, but I didn't get any as I had plans to make dessert when we got home. I made some of my favorite chocolate frosting and some cookies to go along with it. Then it became Gerard Butler Night. Brittny and Mitzi showed me a couple clips from Dracula 2000 (lol!!!) and then we moved on to our feature presentation: Dear Frankie. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah! This movie was sooo precious! It was sad but happy but sad but happy and wonderful. We all did some crying and some laughing and some lusting.

We watched the deleted scenes and other extra stuff, and then I ran to get my laptop and connect it to the TV so I could show Brittny and Mitzi the video posted above. Then we watched the second episode of Spaced (Hullo, Brian...) and other random YouTube videos, including Ali G's interview of Posh and Becks. Lol lol lol forever.

So now here I am... Hesitant to go to sleep, because when I wake up it is time to hardcore study. And time to begin shaping up my life/attitude/all that crap. Boo!

I guess for now I will just try to get to sleep and enjoy a nice, restful night of good thoughts. Please? I do have a lot to look forward to now, so maybe I should start dreaming about the magical experiences that await me next year!

Goodnight all.

MAH BOY.
I think I found Malcolm David Kelley on Facebook and I keep checking every five minutes to see if he accepted my friend request.

I also just went to the grocery store for no good reason. What the hell?! I bought mac & cheese for dinner (even though I had pasta for lunch) and some ice cream. And lemon juice so I can make another delicious fruit salad.

Hello.
It is Friday. One more class until it's weekend, and it's the easiest class of all. I only have to go two more times (today and next Wednesday), which is good and bad. Good because I don't like moving things and building things and destroying my clothes with paint. Bad because... I like the people in that class. Shall I leave it at that? Yes. Val's alarm is yelling at her, as it has been all morning. When will it ever learn? TV was so good this week. Especially LOST, 30 Rock, and The Sarah Silverman Program. Ooooh, Sarah... She is slowly but surely becoming my personal hero.

Lol.

I like to have very early lunches on Fridays. In fact, I think pasta time is fast approaching! Speaking of food, everyone should buy "Choconilla" Cocoa Krispies. Sure, the name is the stupidest thing you'll ever hear in your life... But they taste like pure snappy, crackly, poppy Heaven.

There is something above the far end of my right eyebrow. It might be a zit, it might be a bite... Whatever it is, it aches like frick. I should examine it.

Bri might sleep over tonight. I don't know what we'll do. I hope I don't bore her. We never do anything very exciting when she comes over, but I always have a good time just getting to hang out with her. I'm hoping she feels the same way, because I am lazy/non-creative. Here are my ideas that I have come up with for tonight:

1. Rent a movie/see a movie?
2. Cook dinner/go out to dinner?
3. Bake something?

I am so boring.

The last time I looked at the clock it was 10:23, and now it's 10:42. This can only mean one thing: imminent death and destruction. But first, I better go eat that pasta. Shells or fettuccine? Life is so hard...

All my thoughts, as I think them.
I am doing this out of sheer boredom and restlessness. I really, really hate waiting for LOST on Wednesday nights. It is so stupid that they movied it to 10. I can't concentrate on anything all day until it's over, and even then it often takes me about 2 hours to simmer down from all the excitement. I am listening to a song called "Crying Shame" which is really depressing but doesn't sound like it. It's by a band called Get Set Go. I do believe they have a song or two on the Uglyface's Anatomy soundtrack, but I don't watch that show so I can't be sure. "I'm too lazy to even fall asleep." Whoa, Get Set Go, I've been there. I HAVE BEEN THERE, BUDDY. I never get enough sleep. Why can't I just make an effort to get to bed early, because there's nothing that's gonna change me having to get up at the buttcrack of dawn. Next quarter I have to go to Latin at 8:30 four days a week. It's going to suck wang, but I suck even more wang at Latin and I desperately rely on my teacher's knack for wimpy grading... Sooo I have to make sure I am in her class next quarter. You know what's good about the name Suzanne? It has a Z in it, which is a rare letter when it comes to names. Now, I know Mitzi has like about THREE THOUSAND, but not everyone can be so lucky, okay? OKAY??? I like the Spice Girls. I want to make a playlist that is all singers and bands from the UK. Except maybe I should include Australia, because that's similar and I really like Ben Lee. I feel the same way about Australians as I do about people from the UK. And that would be very, very positively. I want to make that playlist, but then not listen to it unless I get into EAP. And if I do get into EAP, then I can blast it forever until every song is done. And then play it all again. Over and over until I board the plane. But if I don't get in, then I can delete the playlist and pretend like nothing ever happened, except I would also be crying for about 600 hours a day for 4000 days in a row. Impossible? You just don't know how to count time, sirs. You just don't even know. I am missing Jeopardy right now because, like Val, I am too lazy to go downstairs and watch it. Or to even get up from my computer and turn it on in here. I really would like someone to kiss me. Not necessarily anyone in particular, though I do have a few ideas. I just really miss being kissed. Damn damn damn damn. Eff eff eff eff. My diet is going okay. Actually, I think it's going better than okay. It's not annoying me... It actually isn't usually on my mind, except at the end of the day when I realize I've done a good job. I don't feel sorry for myself and cram my face with food, and I don't really usually feel hungry, but I'm still generally keeping my calorie intake quite low. NICE. I hope that, now that I've said that, it doesn't all go to hell. I really need to get in shape. Which also means going to the gym, but I'll work on that later. One thing at a time for now... I have to go on stork patrol now. Bye.

I am a stabbing robot. I will stab you.
LIVEJOURNAL IS A MAGICAL LAND! Oooo so pretty!

Hello. I am in a good mood. The reasons:

1) 30 Rock was sooooo effing good tonight! One of my favorite episodes. Brilliant acting by Tracy Morgan. A not-so-exciting appearance by Chris Parnell, but even Dr. Spaceman can't bring down a fantastic half hour of wonderful television.

2) I just noticed that Jason put his own version of "Winter Wonderland" on MySpace, and it is very precious and amazing. And now it's on my page, duh. Eeeee! Only 5 more days until all my Mrazzy dreams come true.

3) SPEAKING OF COUNTDOWNS, ONLY TWO MORE MONTHS UNTIL LOST. It's December 7th! I did a "Two More Months Dance" for Val and Mitzi this morning, but they were not amused. But that's okay because we still had plenty of laughs down in the old kitch-kitch this morn'. Anyhoo, exactly two sevenths of the month from today, I'll be ditching next quarter's Wednesday night Shakespeare class and dying of exhilaration and joy. PREDICTIONS: I will yell "WAAAAAALT" approximately 243 times. I will make the best strawberry-flavored Fish Biscuits this side of the Mississippi. I will not let anybody tell me what I can't do. I will listen to a short playlist comprised of "Make Your Own Kind of Music" and "Downtown" on repeat until my eardrums burst. The Others will come and steal my baby. I will kill a man just so I can get crunk with Sawyer. Heck, make it 20 men. And the most likely of all, being around several other people just as creepily excited as me will only make it worse; the fangirliness will soar to unprecedented extremes.

4) Chicken Flavor Top Ramen is rocking my world this week. I've had it once a day every day since Monday. And this shall continue until the end of time. Yum yum yum.

5) Tomorrow we're going to see The Holiday. I am more than excited. But it would be much more exciting if the only theatre in Santa Barbara showing The Pick of Destiny had decided to keep playing it JUST ONE MORE DAY! The original plan was to do a Jables double feature, but now that's shot to hell. And I never saw it even though I am already obsessed with it and I am a horrible fan. BOOOOO.

6) I turned in my research project, so I don't have to stress about it anymore. Unfortunately, it was rather incomplete, but it looked damn good. I spent too much time organizing and not enough time researching, but it's sooo pretty! I'd rather have a pretty, but incomplete project than a horribly disorganized and fugly complete one. But most of all, I'd like to have a pretty A+++ quality project. I am a failure. But, as I said, I'm in a good mood. And that's because there's nothing I can do now and I won't find out my grade until Tuesday so I can live in blissful ignorance until then. And in the Classics realm, Gallucci is my lover because he said we can turn in our papers on Monday. Praise Zeus and all his 170+ lovers. Amen.

So now, instead of pulling another "almost-all-nighter-if-it-weren't-for-the-early-morning-catnap" writing my classics paper, I'm just going to snuggle into bed and read a little of the best book of all time (forgive me if I exaggerate, it's part of my horrible addiction), Finding LOST: The Unofficial Guide. It's hecksa good. Don't judge me! If you are a LOST fan, I know you're jealous. And if you're not a fan, you dumb. :)

I joke.

But seriously, people.

Okay sorry.

Goodnight friends and lovers!

Today doesn't suck so far!
My Christmas present is heeeeere! I am just about to install Final Cut Express HD 3.5 onto my computer. It is the week before Dead Week AND it's dance concert Hell Week, so this is a bad idea. I don't care. Weeeeeeeeee!movies.

I'm eating a Galaxy bar. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!chocolate.

Michael Morgan wrote back saying that yes, he will write me a letter of rec. Wahoooooooooooo!awesomepeople.

My History of Costumes class was cancelled. Yippeeeeeeeeeee!extrafreetime.

Tech rehearsal for the dance concert last night was only 2 hours long after the dancing portion got started. Which means the show will be even shorter. Aside from Sunday's matinee, they all start at 8. And I can't imagine I'll have to stick around for too long after the shows... So I should be home in time to watch this very special episode of SNL "live" (it's really fake live since I'm on the West Coast) and with my roomies as opposed to running through the door in the middle of it plugging my ears and waiting for it to be over so I can rewind and watch it alone. I'm crossing my fingerrrrrzzzzzz.

A cool person in [info]lost_tv also thinks that Andy should play Sawyer. I am not a crazy.

I'm gonna play with Final Cut for a little bit before reading for Dongshin's class. I have to turn in a 2-3 page written assignment tomorrow, but I don't feel like stressing out about it.

Things I love & stuff.
YES! This video made my day!

Genius!

Tomorrow will be a good day for two reasons:

1) LOOOOOOSSSSSSST!
2) Paolo Nutini will arrive in my mailbox in CD form!

Paolo was on Craig Ferguson last night and he was quite good/hot.

I drove all the way home during my break from classes today because I had two cravings:

1) Boboli Pizza
2) LOST puzzle

I'm also listening as my Jason Mraz DVD plays in the background.

Pizza's ready! BYE.

"What is the DHARMA Initiative?"
Dwight is my man. MY MAIN MAN.

Today was funky. Not funky fresh, but funky.

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. As a result, I felt like crying in History of Costumes just because I couldn't draw the undergarments of men in the Gothic period. I also made three memorable spelling errors on the same page of notes: "plate armory" instead of "plate armor," "heavy labory" instead of "heavy labor," and "shoels" instead of "shoes." It's hilarious now, but I was sooo fecking frustrated in that class. Bore-o-rama!

Today had good moments too! Like the Vibrant C Blend I got from Jamba Juice. 1300% of my daily reccomended dose of vitamin C, and only 210 calories! Yummmz.

But then it was bad again when THE FREE BORAT PREVIEW SCREENING WAS CANCELLED. F**k to you, I.V. theatre. I will crush you.

But then it was good again when The Office spoilers! )

I'm currently downloading Night of Too Many Stars from iTunes. I'm going to watch it over and over forever and ever.

It seems like I have a lot more to say, but I can't remember...

Oh! I am officially a Classics Minor now, and I have just signed up to do run crew for the Fall Dance Concert. Today was all about takin' care of business. And working overtime.

And eating junk food, apparently.

Miggitymiggitymanhands.

P.S. Thank you Jim + Andy for bringing back the Cardigans. "What happened to those guys?"

P.P.S. I am praying that seeing the 2 A-Holes on the SNL promo means we'll be seeing them on the show this week? Pretty please?

P.P.P.S. Don't worry, you peoples. My LOST awards will probably happen sometime tomorrow. I know you're on the edges of your seats. Totes.

I noticed something else, too...
My new favorite favorite favorite place to sit while I'm eating/studying/killing time on campus is outside the 2nd story of the UCen, facing Lake Craphole (I just named it after my favorite island). I love it here because there are tables with umbrellas, so I don't get burned. And I get wireless internets from the UCen. And I hate hate hate trying to study with the deafening sound of silence ringing in my ears, so the library is not good for me. Here, there are a few people talking quietly, and birds chirping. But they also attack my feet sometimes. (The birds, not the quietly talking people.) It's a small price to pay for a nice place to sit.

Jamba Juice is the best. Their new all-fruit smoothies are AMAZING. At least the mango one is excellent. And only 220 calories. DELISH. Too bad I also just ate a chocolate croissant. I'm going to hell for gluttony.

I have a spider bite today. I am creeped out.

I also have bruises on my arms and I can't figure out why. Was it from banging my arms on the door while bringing the couch in? I didn't think they were hit THAT hard. But I haven't really done anything else lately. I hope I don't have that crazy disease where you bruise all the time.

Hey, guess which two scenes from last night's episode I watched this morning? JUST GUESS. I'll give you a hint: they go together and they involve fish biscuits. My favorite thing to taste. You get it? GET IT???? HAHAHAHAAAAA.

I really need to do my homework.

STOP EYEING ME, BIRD ON THE GROUND! AND TELL YOUR FRIEND HE BETTER NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING TO GET ANY CLOSER! AAAAAHHH!
