Hmmm. This makes me highly uncomfortable. At around 10 o'clock this morning I was in a deep sleep, but I started being aware that it felt like there was someone else inside my flat. I knew this couldn't be right since Caitlin is in Edinburgh until tomorrow, so I just assumed I was wrong and kept on dreaming. But then I was suddenly awoken by what I thought was the sound of my front door closing. I listened really hard to see if I could hear the front door being closed/locked but I didn't hear anything. I panicked a little bit -- as much as you can when you have just been startled awake -- and eventually decided to get out of bed and check things out. The front door was locked, which can only be done with a key, so I knew immediately that I hadn't been burgled. I looked around the flat and there were no intruders and nothing seemed to have been moved. At this point I was pretty sure that I had made the sounds up so I just got back in bed, but I also locked the latch on my bedroom door just in case.
I had forgotten about this whole thing until a little while ago when I went to take the trash out and the front door had been DOUBLE LOCKED. This is what I call it in my head when the DAMN PLUMBER turns the key twice to lock it, which means that I have to turn it twice to unlock it. She is the only person who double locks the door. I locked the door last night and I obviously did not double lock it. WHAT WAS THAT ASSHAT DOING IN MY FLAT THIS MORNING!?!?! WHY DOES SHE STILL HAVE OUR SPARE KEYS!? I looked all around and there is seriously nothing different in the flat or in the bathroom. I have no idea what's going on. I think I'll contact Caitlin and see if she knows anything about it.
On an unrelated note, I am obsessed with this song. This is the third time I've listened to We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things today. I've only been awake for 4 hours. Obsession is a beautiful thing.
Okayyyy I have cleaned the entire flat now and I'm out of new things to watch, which means I think I finally have to get down to business with this classics ish. Except first I think I'll go to the shop to get more diet coke. :D
